BELGRAVE SQUARE

Belgrave Square is one of the grandest and largest 19th-century squares in London. We were delighted to be asked to design a courtyard garden and front of house planting scheme for this impressive white stuccoed home.

After installing layers of trees to keep the street noise out and the garden scents in, we planted lavender, jasmine and roses in the courtyard. We laid white limestone paving and designed and produced a set of tall bronze geometric lighting panels which cast a warm glow during the evenings. We installed huge oversize urns to play with the sense of scale and add a counterpoint to the trees. This contrasting fusion of the traditional and the modern really brought the gardens to life.
